| 725203 | 2008-12-02 19:18:00 | Hi, I tried to setup my IMAP email in outlook 2007 in Vista. But it was not successful. I called my ISP and they tested the same account at their computer and they said, IMAP is working in their computer. And might be chances that my IMAP port is blocked. I have confirmed the incoming mail server and outgoing mail server name with my ISP and they said it is correct. I can successfully create POP3 account in my outlook 2007. But it fails to create IMAP account in my Outlook 2007. I tried to stop my Avast Antivirus in case it blocks the port but it still fails to create the IMAP account. Please guide, how to unblock the IMAP port? Or guide me in case vista can block the port some way. Or any other possible problem. Thanks, |
