515609 2007-01-13 23:17:00 Here's a c/p sample:

515611 2007-01-14 00:43:00 Sorry, I must be dense . But what makes this report news worthy enough to post here? What did I miss? :illogical

Frankly, I am surprised you'd ask that .

MY quest is to find information from all the sites I can . . . and I thought the syntax and the linguistics on it would be interesting .

I always enjoy the way youse guys speak and I like reading the things that are going on in your neck of the world . . . . .

There's always things that float their boat, to say it kinda wise-buttedly .

I marvel at the news that impresses people . . or the lack of news that they read or worry over in their lands . We (you and I) seem to get fairly BBC-ish things to read, and here's a spin that we don't get to see very much or often . . . that's all .

My friends from Bulgaria always have news from a different perspective, and I find that when I read news and articles from other sources, I get a more rounded-out idea of what's happening . . . and I (mistakenly?) thought there might be some universal appeal .

Here was an interesting article on spoonerisms and malapropism concerning the internet and such .

Maybe not . :( nolo contendere

Besides, it is very funny!

515613 2007-01-14 02:22:00 Joe, for (possibly computer) translation, that's not too bad. I have seen much worse manglish from "native English speakers". Graham L (2)

I think this thread sits quite nicely with the one about Ronaldo's girlfriend doing porn... well, at least I can see the link :p

As for news worthy, well...

515615 2007-01-14 07:24:00 I guess my humor bone is different . . . but don't you see the funny in this: "the department on struggle against crimes" . . . as I cannot see any department in any country called "the department on struggle against crimes" . . .

and this: "Plotter inflicted damage on one militiaman . . . . . . . Victim is hospitalized . " . . . .

. . . . . . kinda goes without saying that it is actually very funny .

Oh well . . . I give up . . . . :yuck:

515617 2007-01-14 07:36:00 Sorry Joe...

Funny bone long gone due to my last partner being Polish (thats Euro, not buffed!!!), there's only so much mileage you can get out of wearing a pointy hat and cape and calling it your "Secret Department in Struggle Against Crimes" uniform.

But hey- that's Euro roleplaying for ya :D

On a brighter note, Morrissey has voluntaired himself to write something for the Eurovison Song Contest... apparently he thought last year's entries were sheeite

515618 2007-01-14 08:27:00 It appears they use the same translator as a lot of video recorder firms.
Might have more luck with the text if you ruled lines on it, played it on the piano and waited for a close encounter.
