| 515186 | 2007-01-12 08:34:00 | Hi all, I have had this 8 months now. Used to play DVD's weather ripped or from the video store just fine. Now only plays Data CD's and 80min CD's. When I load a DVD of any type; the display comes up with " no disc " Has this thing **** itself? Thanks, Ra:thumbs: |

| 515190 | 2007-01-13 06:30:00 | Often the drives have dual lasers, one for CD and one for DVD. Sounds as though the DVD laser has passed away. If it's only 8 months old, take it back. It should have a 12 month warranty. |
