514673 2007-01-10 07:33:00 I've been playing with Vista RC2 & Office 2007 beta at work & I'm getting really sick of the black colour scheme. Outlook looks especially ugly in black.

Are there any vista users here playing with custom colour schemes or 3rd party skins & want to comment on what looks good?

They just think it's not worth paying for (and they are probably right), but I'll bet a lot of people couldn't resist playing with the free pre-release.

514676 2007-01-10 07:43:00 Probably not. I know a few people trialling the Office beta. (and not liking it.) winmacguy (3367)

514678 2007-01-10 09:04:00 I ran a dual boot setup since RC1, but have not been in Vista for a while as I have more time with school finished to game :D

I like Vista, the only reason as stated above is the price that I don't want the final version...

But as for the schemes I don't remember... :stare:

Well I for one get enthused about new hardware, new games too. Nw operating systems? By MS?

Nah........Free or not - I like to control my own PC and everything I've seen and heard so far about Vista indicates the opposite.

And the "features", none of them appeal at all. I like an O/S to be lean and clean. If there are other things I want, well thats what 3rd party software is for.

MS gets worse with every version.

514680 2007-01-10 19:32:00 I like the beta of Office - it's default colour scheme is blue (on XP at least). I also have a Vista skin, as I'm loving Vista, but I can't run it. :( pcuser42 (130)
