514437 2007-01-11 23:27:00 Judging by the reports I am seeing around the web it looks like the iPhone will be a hit when it comes out in June.

Thats known as hype (as are nearly all your posts) and has no real world bearing on...well, anything. The iPhone may well sell (though I doubt it will spark a buying frenzy, more likely to remain just another option for people the next time they go to buy a phone) either way it will have nothing to do with the opinion of someone asked to comment about the presentation for the article on Pcworld.com

514438 2007-01-11 23:33:00 you wouldn't ditch your 6 month old phone for the sake of having an iPhone.
There was hype about the PS3 and that seems a major flop in the states by the majority of reports

514439 2007-01-11 23:42:00 I wasn't referring to "hype". Keep using your existing phone Metla unless you have spotted something nice out there that suits your requirements. With regards to the iPhone Id still wait till it hits our shores and see what the data plans are like since that will be the deciding factor. Apparently Apple can upgrade it to 3G if they want to. I am pretty sure it will be very simple to use, much like the rest of their stuff. winmacguy (3367)
514440 2007-01-11 23:47:00 Funny that, Seeing as nothing so far is in existence in regards to the iPhone yet apart from hype. Hell, thats what the presentation was for, and thats what all the spin off is. Metla (12)
514441 2007-01-11 23:51:00 I was referring to the Cingular stores feilding phone enquiries from numerous interested customers in the US regarding the iPhone. But your correct there Metla, it was a pretty good sales pitch. :) winmacguy (3367)

514443 2007-01-12 00:15:00 as for the ipod

i found it more difficult to use than other mp3 players i've tried, not impossible

other mp3 players didn't break in my pocket, then i didn't try the ipod shuffle which doesn't have a screen right?

and i'm not talking about mac prices, there's nothing wrong with apple imo, just the way the ipod is made out to be the holy grail of mp3 players when it isn't, imo

Corect the iPod shuffle doesn't have a screen due to the limited number of songs it carrys and its size obviously. Generaly you just hit "play" then move your thumb around the click wheel for volume up or down with additional ff skip or rrw or skip.

So what did you find hard about it?
