| 514388 | 2007-01-10 18:24:00 | Apple's share price has headed north again since the release of the iPhone, now the analysts are predicting that motorola will start to loose market share www.bloomberg.com Plus David Pogue of the NYTimes blogs here bits.blogs.nytimes.com FWIW I am personally more of a fan of Apple than the phone. I currently only use a Nokia mobile for calls and some texting and have no plans to own any sort of Blackberry/iPaq/or iPhone in the future. |

| 514389 | 2007-01-10 19:00:00 | Id say that would be it. The world would be a boring place if it wasn't for creative types and subjective opinions. Computers would still be boring beige boxes if someone with a CBE hadn't decided to throw a few shapes, change in form factor and add a bit of colour into the mix. And charge wanna-be graphic designers an arm and a leg for the joy of being... sorry- owning something with a bit of fruit on it. :stare: We must remember that they are the same punters who happily wear brand advertising on their underwear :p Having said that- the iphone does look at last like it takes care of converged technology. I just wouldn't own one because it's made by Apple :groan: |

| 514394 | 2007-01-11 00:28:00 | Just read that about 20 min ago. I think Apple and Cisco still have a few specifics to sort out considering that the actual "iPhone" is not actually due for release for another 6 months. The name iPhone may or may not end up being the final name for Apple's product. | winmacguy (3367) | ||

| 514396 | 2007-01-11 00:44:00 | Except I generally regard calling M$ as not always being complementary to Microsoft. Actually, M$ is quite complementary to Microsoft, given their stature on the financial front, however I imagine that in reality you were heading for complimentary but missed it by an i, which is quite i-ronic really. Bit like saying the secret to McDonalds' success is quite alimentary. :D Cheers Billy 8-{) |
