| 725645 | 2008-12-03 22:26:00 | Just thought I'd see what people are using and can recommend. Now that Im working for somebody else, I cant just use Gmail (Oh man!)... Not really to keen on Outlook, a little too big.. and I could go Thunderbird but I thought I'd see what else is out there first :) I tried jbmail32 the other day, *super* light-weight which was nice, but a little too light-weight I think. So yeah, aside from Thunderbird / Outlook (And dont even think of suggestion Outlook Express...), what else are people using out there? :) |

| 725649 | 2008-12-03 23:19:00 | Yeah but it only checks every X minutes, which IIRC you cant define ... The more email you get the more frequently it supposedly checks. Otherwise, I'd definitely stick with Gmail :D |

Exactly - been using OE for years and never had a problem. Probably use it on my Mac as well if there was still a Mac version. |

| 725653 | 2008-12-04 00:31:00 | OE/Win Mail is actually one of the easiest mail clients to configure, change settings add accounts etc that there is. Thunderbird is good but I don't believe it deserves the reputation given to it by the many devotees |
