| 726413 | 2008-12-07 18:11:00 | Over the years the monitors I use have got bigger so these days I notice little difference when anti-aliasing is turned off. Download FRAPS if you want to see what frames-per-second difference each setting makes. It'll show the fps count in the upper corner of the screen as you play. Also Tweakguides (http://www.tweakguides.com/) is really good for game-specific and general info on what different setting do. |

| 726414 | 2008-12-08 02:22:00 | Anti-Aliasing has a huge effect on fps, especially when run at the higher levels. I play pretty much all my games with it turned off, I bump all the graphics settings up until I have around the fps I want, and it's smooth enough to satisfy me without AA. |
