| 726162 | 2008-12-06 04:24:00 | Hi all, i seem to be having a problem connecting to my website using an FTP (FileZilla) I have been using the website for quite some time however a recent crash made me decide not to use the web based file maneger provided by the hosting company (000webhost) which was slow and limited the file upload size to 5MB, and use FileZilla. The site has FileZilla as a recommended FTP client however when I enter my FTP details the following error occurs: Error: Could not connect to server Status: Waiting to retry... Status: Resolving address of novagames.net76.net Status: Connecting to 64.191.56.133:21... Status: Connection attempt failed with "EACCES - Permission denied". Error: Could not connect to server I have tried another FTP (FireFTP) and checked the details are correct, I'M kind of stumped here so help much appreciated! The Error Guy |

| 726163 | 2008-12-06 04:59:00 | Firewall block I think What are you using as your firewall? remove all your FileZilla entries in the firewall then try connecting to your host again, the firewall should ask to allow - say yes to all Does that help at all |

| 726164 | 2008-12-06 05:32:00 | I agree with bevy-its probably a firewall problem. (Blocked port?) Try disabling it altogether. Or-if you can, allow Filezilla as a trusted program |
