| 726039 | 2008-12-05 16:06:00 | I am using Windows XP Pro and am trying to find the option to tell my computer not to sort files in a folder so they stay in the order that I copy them onto that folder. I mwant it just for particular folders so for instance when I copy CD tracks to a folder it doesn't rearrange the file names into alpha order or file size or whatever and I can just tell it not to sort the files. I thought there was an option in Windows Explorer/View/Arrange icons by for "do not arrange" but there isn't. I find when I copy a CD it then sorts the tracks into alpha order, which I don't want - I want them in the same order as they are on the original CD |
