| 516639 | 2007-01-17 00:14:00 | I currently have built in sound. AC 97 (or simliar) I want a better sound card. It will only be used for voice. Head phones and microphone. No music or anything else. Would someone like to suggest a good card for this? |

| 516643 | 2007-01-17 05:28:00 | A friend of mine recommended I buy a USB mic. Does a 3.5mm socket generate enough noise for a USB connection to make much difference? I haven't missed my old mic since it broke, so I don't think I'll bother buying a new one. |

I bought a logitech head set, plugged it in, adjusted the settings to mike in control panel. Speakers are unplugged. What else should I do?  |
