Couldn't care less about Tool,The Killers were disappointing, and Scribe needed to be booted off the main stage to the Green Stage or wherever. But it was worth the whole ticket just to see Muse. They were the only band who understood the BDO format. When you have an hour to perform, you don't stroll through your set, play a few slow songs, or try and interact with the crowd (i.e. Scribe trying to get the crowd to raise thier hands for peace and love). You just rock through your best songs, one after the other. Muse were the only group that did this, making them the best act of the whole day. After Muse, Tool just didn't stand a chance of comparing. Best quote in the post-event reports: [After My Chemical Romance started} "Ohhh, look, the emo's are happy!" :D |
