517446 2007-01-19 06:43:00 The instructors wherever you are must be more strict than down here, but when I took lessons before I went for my full, they stressed the importance of never going even 1 k over the speed limit.

And how would the tester know from the left hand seat whether you were 1 or 2 km over the limit without climbing into your lap to see the speedometer properly?

1K? How the hell do you do that? I mean consisently - go downhill and watch it creep a bit, or uphill and drop. Unless you have your eyes glued to the speedo, in which case you'll be busy killing everyone you hit at exactly 50.

I think you just got a picky tester, or he/she didn't like you.
Thats ridiculous.

517448 2007-01-19 07:07:00 It's fairly easy, maintain your speed at 5 km/h under the speed limit. Then if you accidentally go too fast, you only end up at 48 km/h, rather than 53, and failing. roddy_boy (4115)
517449 2007-01-19 07:27:00 Then they fail you for going too slow. You can't win. FoxyMX (5)
517450 2007-01-19 07:45:00 No, only if you're actually going too slow. What I was saying is you shouldn't try to sit exactly on the speed limit, because inevitably you will accidentally go over. roddy_boy (4115)
517451 2007-01-19 08:16:00 lol fale. I don't understand why people would speed when they're sitting a test. Or cut corners. If you break any road rules at all when sitting your test, you fully deserve to fail.

It doesn't matter what sort of car you drive. You either have it or you don't.
