| 726561 | 2008-12-08 21:14:00 | Here's what it looks like in my MSCONFIG.... _A00F1E1849D C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\_A00F1E1849D.exe The problem is that when i go to my C: i can't locate the DOCUME~1 folder anywhere OR that _A00F1E1849D.exe file. Sorry im a bit noobish but after running all of my cleaning programs the exe. is still there.Does anyone have a tip to pass on ? thanks all ! |

| 726562 | 2008-12-08 21:20:00 | Show all files, then go to the folder then delete it. I would disable system restore first Use ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com) and delete it from startup, and then run ccleaner. So, it deletes the temp files etc |

SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run I navigated through this location (starting at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE) and was unable to find the exe. file...i ALSO tried the command path but could not locate the DOCUME~1 after the C:...sorry i'm a bit noobish at this sort of thing can anyone help please ? |

| 726565 | 2008-12-09 05:23:00 | Hello again, so i get home from work today and turn on my pc and avast detects this trojan thing again! So i tell it to delete it, go and have a look to see if it's gone and it is. So just to be sure i restart to see if it'l pop up again - nothing. Ok, so i turn off system restore and go to safe mode and do couple scans with trojan remover, spybot s&d and adaware and they come up all neg. Back into normal mode, turn system restore back on, restart and still nothing. Just a little concerned about wether or not this thing is gone? And if so what happened today? I did another hijacklog if you guys wouldn't mind taking a look?
