516203 2007-01-15 23:13:00 Well, Sony have taken down the product in question before I could give them a call today. I really did want to know what would happen if I went in and tried to buy one :) beeswax34 (63)
516204 2007-01-16 01:22:00 Surprising how many people think that because something is advertised at a price, the seller is legally forced to sell at that price. All laws recognise that mistakes can be made. Years ago (when house prices were a LOT lower) a house was for sale for 2200 pounds but the paper misprinted it as 220 - just a decimal point wrong!
Does anybody really think the seller had to sell for one tenth the true value.
I had an experience some years ago - when occasionally writing computer articles for the STAR newspaper. There was some confusion when my article about a shareware program failed to appear, but my offer of the program for $2 ended up printed under a test of a $100 game by somebody else. An idiot turned up at my door with $2 and demanded the game or he would sue me. I was a pensioner just getting a little extra pocket money!!

Tom Never mind Tom, no doubt you were not alone. This thread just proves that there are still people out there who believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.

That's ok, just so long as they don't be runnin around nekked 'n scaring the wimmin & chillens.

Reality is so much different.

Cheers
