726113 2008-12-06 03:18:00 I am having trouble with premiere pro. I feed in a photograph and the sequence produced sometimes focuses on the middle third or so of the picture.

The pictures (JPGs) are say 3000 pixels by 3000 pixels and it is as though the software is picking out the central 750 x 500 pixels. From the thumbnail view I know that Premiere Pro can see the entire photo and often I "capture" the whole photo. Somewhere there must be a button or switch that I am hitting that converts from a "full" view to the "central" view

hopefully that is clear

726114 2008-12-06 03:40:00 Just size the image down in premiere pro. Video size is not that big.

Depending on your version of premiere.
Your project size is probably 720 x 576. Put the photo on the timeline and select it, on the right screen there is something called FIT, drop it down and change to a view where you can see the entire image, including it's boundry drag points and just drag it down to size. Hold shift key to constrain it's proportions.
