518898 2007-01-24 07:57:00 Hi guys

About 40 years ago my mother had her gall bladder removed. She was in Hospital for about 2 months, had this massive scar and spent about 2 weeks in ICU.

Last Friday the One Who Rules had her gall bladder removed. Four little pinholes, no pain as yet, home the next day. Must say, once she puked a bit after the operation she got much better much faster.

Isn't it wonderful what modern technology can do these days?

518901 2007-01-24 08:12:00 No need to panic! I merged the PressF1 thread into this Chat forum thread. I like things nice and tidy even if it does confuse the poster and make some replies look a tad out of context. :p Jen (38)

518904 2007-01-24 08:20:00 Back on topic ... glad your wife is recovering nicely.

I've had "keyhole" surgery when I had my appendix out. Only a couple of tiny wee scars to show for it. Was back at work a couple of days later too.
