727101 2008-12-16 09:31:00 What I dont understand is why their technical support people have to handle billing inquiries as well. Called today and selected 'Tolls and Billings' and they routed me back to tech support.

Here's an idea: Why not let the tech's do the tech work so there exists a service that we can actually pay for??

727102 2008-12-16 09:48:00 Yeah I actually called them twice ...

First call I spoke with Tech first and they put me through to Accounts to ask about a refund
Second call I went straight through to accounts (dissatisfied with their previous answer) and they informed me I'd have to be put through to tech support for a resolution. Tech support still couldnt help me ... Figures!

Maybe they only have 2 or 3 people working for them, so their tech support person also handles billing.

Yeah many international websites aren't loading, yet their staus page doesn't shown any problems. The least they could do is tell us why they are having so many outages.

727107 2008-12-16 10:58:00 Its been working fine since 5pm here (finally!!)

I pushed the tech support guys to get an answer as to why they keep going down and they said that for the outage last night, it was some Telecom equipment that malfunctioned and all the outages today were caused by an authentication server on their end crashing so some people can log on but others cant. They could be BS'ing but thats the only explanation I've gotten out of them yet.

Like I said, they could just be BS'ing me lol. Would be nice to know the real reason.
