518870 2007-01-26 23:57:00 Personally I went with a CRT, a freakin huge CRT, takes 3 people to lift it, And I had to take a saw to my TV cabinet to fit it in, Havent seen one in the shops like it for years.

All I had to do was talk my old boy into buying a Plasma, then I stole his old TV. Big, clear, Cheap. and a couple of fat grunty speakers hanging off the side of it.

It eats LCD's for breakfast.:D:D:D

4:3 for the win.

518871 2007-01-27 03:28:00 I have a feeling T you are set to buy a LCD,in the end they are not bad,but have a way to go re versatility of CRT.

I think as usual,I said it all.

518872 2007-01-28 06:23:00 Make sure it has HDMI interface. This incorporate HDCP, which Sky and NZ will use when HDTV comes out.

Also if your buying a Panasonic Plasma make sure that its not one of the ones with HDMI and 480P resolution that are being flogged off cheap at present..
