uTorrent only uses around 5MB Ram while running, very low CPU usage...

I used to get about 2-3 KB/s before I changed routers. WAS using a cheap budget/useless/POS DSL-302g, but now Ive switched to a cheap / good / nicer Dynalink RTA 1320 and Ive been frequently getting 150KB/s or higher download speeds! Also, Im port-forwarding which helps.. but even before I setup the port-forwarding, downloading the same torrents the speeds were approx 10x faster, coming down at 30-40KB/s! The DSL-302g just wasnt able to handle the connections methinks

But dont go ditching uTorrent, its the best, I'll stake my name on it ;) 		Chilling_Silence (9)

the cause is 95% of the time one of three things.

1. Crappy Source (Public tracker, 1 seeder 10000 leechers all limiting there speed)
2. Port forwarding.
3. Crappy Connection, IE Xtra GoLarge


These client discussion threads make me laugh, there is stuff all performance difference between the major clients, and I have pretty much tried them all and can get max speed. 		Master_Frost (9951)

Its just so small and so simple.

Another good one I like is uTorrent.

Depends on the trackers, if you read their site, some restricts software to a few only. But if your one goes, then your one is not restricted. If its slow, refer to above to the (4) points :) 		Nomad (952)
