520243 2007-01-29 06:03:00 This is the 3rd month in a row that I haven't received my edition of the PC World in the mail as a paid up subscriber prior to it's arrival on the news stands!
What is going on?!
And why do you ask am I venting my spleem here on such a public forum? -- because I've rung and left e-mail messages with the subscriptions department on at least 5 occasions without any response!

I want my money back.

Frustratedly and angrily yours

520245 2007-01-29 06:17:00 You're quite right Mr Roddy but I was very angry when I wrote the post! Chemical Ali (118)
520246 2007-01-29 06:22:00 Uhhh, so what was the last edition you got? byte (11156)
520247 2007-01-29 06:31:00 Uhhh, so what was the last edition you got?I think he is saying that he gets the magazine in the post after it is available in the shops, not that he doesn't get it at all.

That is pretty much normal for me, didn't realise it was something to get upset about.

520248 2007-01-29 06:35:00 Well I think it is considering:
A) I'm a paid subscriber who's supposed to receive it prior to news agent release date.
B) No one ever returns my calls or e-mails.
C) It takes a week every time after the release date before I get it in the post (not just a day or two).

520249 2007-01-29 06:42:00 Er, I fail to see what the big deal is then. If you'd _not_ received several editions then that may be a cause for concern, but receiving them a few days late is nothing to complain about in my opinion. It's proberly New Zealand Post's fault anyway.

But ofcourse, if you feel that it is a big deal go ahead and complain.

Edit: Err, where does it say that you're supposed to receive it before News agents?

He did say that it was more than a few days late. Over a week is very long time, when you can just pop into a dairy and buy one. Fair enough that you are peed off. I have found the service of many NZ companies has gone downhill in terms of service, especially ones whch have been brought out by our Ozzie neighbours. This includes banks.

520251 2007-01-29 07:13:00 Fair enough - he lives in Wellington not out in the wops.

I get the Listener late often, randomly Tuesdya, Wednesday and a few times even Thursday - after its already in the shop.

But when I have rung them they always apologise, on occasion when it didn't come at all - sent another and it magically appears on the Monday for a while until NZPost revert again. But then I am in the wops - CA isn't.

520252 2007-01-29 07:13:00 I would have to agree with Chemical, if I was a PAID subscriber, guaranteeing PC World magazine a monthly sale, I would expect my book before it went on stands too. NZ post normally only 2 days. Are they post dated? G-Boy (6793)
