| 519744 | 2007-01-27 19:38:00 | Hi Guys, I am a bit of an inveterate collector. I have all of my PC World cover CDs since 2001. I am trying to cut down on some of my clutter. Is it wise to keep them ? and if so for how long ? Occassionaly I need/want an old program, but I can never find them, and PC World do not publish an index, I tired to start one, but its a big job. | 519745 | 2007-01-27 19:47:00 | Until I throw the magazine away. I have had a habit of keeping them for several years but that is probably because I am lazy. I know people who keep the CDs but I guess it depends if you do a lot of PC repair jobs or not. I don't do any so I don't really have any need to keep them for more than about 6 months or so. | winmacguy (3367) | ||
| 519746 | 2007-01-27 19:47:00 | i usually hold on to them for about a year. after that i pass them on to grandad. i do keep all the disks, but find i refer to them very rarely, so they usually go after a few years. any old info i may need to refer to can be found on good ole google if needed. cheers! |

Bruce i think organised the pf1 peoples on here to index this up to 2004, i dont know where you can get a copy of this........ maybe one of the regulars can help you on this............it was a great effort by all and very timeconsuming...... Maybe we need to do the next update and have it available again??? beetle:illogical |

You should be able to search for it as I think its is in the old area of PressF1 Maybe we need to do the next update and have it available again??? I did suggest that to Bruce last year (about the time that FAQF1 was just born) & he said he would think about it, but that was the last I herd about it. |
