I now officially own one of the fastest workstations on the earth!! is currently running Windows Vista Ultimate and the performance is blistering. 2x 3.0GHz Dual Core Xeon (Thats right, 3GHz in each core!) 8GB of DDR2 ECC 512MB NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 1x 250GB HD, 3x 500GB HD in SoftRaid DVD SuperDrive but the best part of the package? the 23 inch Apple Cinema Display!! lol. And please understand that I need to have Windows- as much as I hate it, i have no choice What will you be using it for? |

If they wanted to do a bit of "advertising" it would be easier to rave on about the features and usability of a much cheaper version of the hardware and system. I am just curious to know what they intend on using it for since I doubt very much it will be for regular use or gaming since it would be overkill for the first and not suited to the latter. |

| 520803 | 2007-01-31 19:49:00 | LOL, Definitely not a work machine then:rolleyes: Bit of a waist only going for a 23 inch Apple monitor if your going to spend that sort of cash though, more sense to get the 30 inch monitor. For a 14 y old poster then I would have to say he is either F.O.S or has very rich parents - I'll go for the first option. Edit: The 18k that was mentioned earlier will actually get you a 3TB RAID Drive with 16GB of RAM as well as the Top graphics card and a 30inch monitor. I agree with your other comments Metla. |

| 520805 | 2007-02-01 00:09:00 | i still maintain the beleif that anyone under the age of 15, and anyone who considers themselves "gangsta", should be banned from the internet, or atleast have posting/chatting rights removed.... kinda like a drivers licence - a posting licence lol honestly, has anyone played an mmo lately? you can tell the age of a person pretty easily. sentences such as "IL PWN U NOOOB", and "HAX", when used seriously, especially when said player is pwned by the "NOOB" without actually cheating, are dead giveaways |
