| 519142 | 2007-03-04 21:10:00 | Ok, I hate ihug. I signed up for homeline with them, with the intention of getting ADSL through Woosh. I requested to have the phone line connected on 2nd Feb, it went through on 12 Feb. As soon as that went through, I contacted Woosh to have the ADSL connected. They contacted me a couple of days later to tell me it hadn't gone through as there was apparently already an active connection on the line. I called ihug, who told me they'd accidentally connected ADSL, and would cancel it, and it would take a couple of days. So I gave it a few days, called ihug back, they confirmed it was stopped, so called Woosh back. It was still connected at ihug's end. So I've been calling ihug every 3 days or so since then, they keep telling me the previous umpteen people have done it wrong, and they'll disconnect it. But still no go. So I'm fairly damn well pissed off at them now. |

Meanwhile it's been bought, sold, and generally is no more than a ongoing client base with the same name that was proudly created a decade plus ago. Dedication to service is just a slogan. Still, you can do worse, you really can. Just another bunch of ***** that take your money and try to monopolize the market as much as they can. Nothing new here :( |
