728152 2008-12-12 09:01:00 If the program only partly installed it may still show in Add/Remove programs and NOT in Ccleaner - to remove the listing in Add / Remove programs .

First make a restore point in case something screws up .

Go to Add/Remove Programs ,write down the exact name of the program .

Click Start / Run . type regedit and hit “Enter .

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Uninstall .

Look for the folders with the names of the program you want to delete .

Right click each of these folders and then click Delete . If you receive a message asking “Are You Sure You Want to Delete” click “Yes .

When you have deleted all the folders of the programs you wish to remove, close the Reg Editor .

Open Add Remove programs - the listing should now be gone (may require a reboot first to refresh)

IF you dump it directly out of the C: Drive - make sure you don't delete it out of the recycle bin YET - if there are any shared files in that folder, other applications may fail as well .

Try all the other apps first on your PC before emptying out the recycle bin - dumping programs from the C: Drive is not advised in that way unless you are POSITIVE they will not affect any thing else . And not many people are 100% positive what else may or may not be affected - in fact is damn right dangerous . Unless the folder on C: drive is empty, but you need to have " show Hidden Files & system Files" visible to be sure .

Does show up in Start_All Programs.
