728009 2008-12-12 02:24:00 Try turning Off Comodo, and see what happens.

Comodo is off. Both BNZ and Vodafone sites report connected and loading but nothing loads. Currently using FF and have them in separate tabs.

Guess the next thing to try is a direct connection to eliminate the router and/or network as the problem

728010 2008-12-12 02:49:00 So the sites wont Load in IE But do in FF ?

If so open IE, go to Tools/Internet Options / Security tab / Click On reset all zones to default.

Before you do that - see what level it currently is, anything above Medium - High can give problems some times. While in the settings have a look at the privacy tab - make sure thats not set to high either - the default is Medium.

Edited: Get ccleaner from my sig, install and run - the sites may be trying to load from the cache

Thanks wratterus. I just like to eliminate the possibility that the problem is in my system (or my stupidity) before I go through the whole wait on the phone and explain the problem to their help desk. Saves time in the long run.

728014 2008-12-12 03:22:00 Sounds like a DNS problem...

Click Start > Run. Copy and Paste this:
ipconfig /flushdns and click OK. Reboot and then try the sites.

728015 2008-12-12 03:28:00 So some sites load and others don't.

This can often be caused by the MTU settings in the router.
If you go into the router configuration and change the MTU to 1492 if it is currently on 1500 and see if that helps.

Thanks. tried that but it makes no difference.

Now I'll try the next suggestion from Safari.

Thanks but the MTU is set at 1492 so I guess that is not it.
