520253 2007-01-29 07:15:00 Does it actually say that you're supposed to receive it before news agents if you're a subscriber? byte (11156)
520254 2007-01-29 07:56:00 What number or person have you been trying to call? The details are here (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) from a previous discussion on this. Jen (38)
520255 2007-01-29 08:34:00 I e-mailed and rang the supplied numbers/addresses under the subscriptions link on the NZ PC World website.
Thanks for the support from some of you -- it interests me that the only really non-supportive person happens to be a PC World "affilitaed" moderator.

520256 2007-01-29 08:36:00 I've no idea when it appeared on stands. I don't look.

But as for how late/ if late - facts?
Mine was in my Dunedin letterbox on Saturday 27th.

520257 2007-01-29 08:37:00 The rest of us are so apathetic towards your little drama that we aren't motivated to post. Metla (12)

I went out of my way to find that original thread as this late delivery rang a bell. I posted the contact details in case they were different to what you had. And you call that not being helpful.

You're welcome.

520259 2007-01-29 08:38:00 I would have to agree with Chemical, if I was a PAID subscriber, guaranteeing PC World magazine a monthly sale, I would expect my book before it went on stands too. NZ post normally only 2 days. Are they post dated?

Is that one of the things they advertise to subscribers, that you will get it before it is sent to their retailer?. Is there actually any incentive to subscribe, rather than to buy the editions that you want from the dairy, if it is delivered a week later than buying it from a retailer?
In a week IT news can be very out of date.

How many PC world articles are composed within a week of the magazine hitting the shelves?

That's not nice especially considering that we've never met, don't be like that ...

Jen:
Your tone indicated to me, in my opinion anyway, that you felt strongly that I shouldn't be grizzling at all and I associated that with your position as a forum moderator.

The thing is that it works out cheaper in the long run to get a subscription.

And then there is the fact that sometimes it actually can come quite early.
In fact i got mine today.
