They certainly have been quick in embracing the new OS, all advertised PC's come preinstalled with some version of it, plus the whole thing is full of ads on how Vista is so great. I don't remember such hype with XP. |

2007-01-29 21:07:00 | im fed up with xp it has more flaws than the park royal hotel roll out vista to everyone. Why do you think Vista is going to have less flaws? If anything it will have more, the XP code has been around for 5 years, over that time it has received countless updates and patches. The majority of code in Vista is brand-spanking new, so therefore untested - well, not tested as much as XP.

2007-01-29 22:58:00 | I to will be buying it but not until wednesday. So now i suppose you and i will just sit here and wait for all the anti microsoft addicts to say what mugs we are, you should wait until the bugs are ironed out you are wasting your money etc etc. Who cares if i want vista i'll buy it my pc runs fine its vista ready as its only six months old and all the programs i use do run on it as i have tested and retested with vista RC1 and went from their as to what i need and dont need. No not an anti MS addict, merely more sensible than you. "Mug"... doesn't quite do it justice but I guess it will serve.

2007-01-29 23:36:00 | . . . Yeah! An O/S that did nothing until you fed it a command . . . . Quite right . I want my computers to do what I tell them to do . I bought them to run my programmes, not "operating systems" . The purpose of an operating system is to load and run programmes to do things . That purpose seems to have been lost in the hysterical marketing of "features" . | Graham L (2) | |
2007-01-29 23:42:00 | Id expect a smart comment like that from a wellington womble such as yourself. Oh I'm absolutely thrilled I could come up to your lofty expectations, now if only... BTW, I believe you're confusing Wellington with Wimbledon. Easily done, I imagine...
