| 727987 | 2008-12-12 00:52:00 | Hi All, My brother is looking to change ISP's from Ihug/Vodaphone to Telecom, and was wondering if he has to notify Vodafone, or do Telecom take care of that side of things? |

| 727988 | 2008-12-12 00:59:00 | He would be wise to write to Vodafone and advise them that he is changing ISPs and when regardless of what Telecom says. That helps to avoid any confusion and double billing problems down the track. It is a lot easier to ensure they know what is happening now than to try and sort it out later. | CliveM (6007) | ||

Yes, you have to contact the company you have the existing contract with to cancel it, otherwise legally they can continue to bill you. |

It's all in their terms that you must contact them to cancel an account. |
