727368 2008-12-10 06:33:00 Hi guys,
Just came back from overseas and noticed that I can no longer access my wireless network. It asks me for the WEP/WAP code. I did that indeed set that in the past but do not have it anymore. However, i also have an apple computer hanging in the network that works well. can I retrieve the code from that one? Or can I reset the code in a way.
Thanks for your help.

Cheers
johan

727369 2008-12-10 06:35:00 If the main key is in a router, change it, then change the others Speedy Gonzales (78)
727370 2008-12-10 06:49:00 To get to the router homepage type 192.168.1.1 or something similar(check your manual) in address bar and press enter.

If you give us your router model number we can give more detailed instructions

727371 2008-12-10 07:08:00 yeah you can recover the code from your apple.
You need to open keychain access and then unlock your login keychain and then try to find the name of your wireless network then when you have selected the entry down the bottom of the screen select show password.
You will then be prompted to enter your password and then select allow once, just so no one can get your passwords if they get into your account. And then it will show you the password for your router.
I think this way will be easier than resetting the wireless password
