| 727356 | 2008-12-10 04:09:00 | If I remember clearly the first laptop was on special and only 1299 at DSE 2 days ago(1199 after cashback) I would have chosen the toshiba if it had been that price today but since its 1499 now I'm choosing asus since GFX card doesn't really matter. The CPU's dual core. Asus is definitely better value than the toshiba. |

| 727358 | 2008-12-10 04:43:00 | Both are good brands, and just about any computer in that price range will do all your mate wants. I would not worry about the internals if this is not going to do any gaming, just pick the one with the best looking screen, and maybe consider the battery life and other accessories like a stand, keyboard/mouse etc. |
