Then the other half remembers which ISP spent a fortune on TV commercials telling everyone what a wonderful improvement in performance they'd get from signing up for Go Large. And how many complaint threads/posts there've been here from people who believe they were conned by that particular campaign. I'm pretty picky about bias myself ( & I'm an Xtra Dialup customer with no personal complaints) but when one ISP leads the signup race like that - and doesn't deliver on extravagent promises - it's news. |

None of the other ISPs with ads on TV mentioned the small print either. Although Slingshot have lately taken to saying "as fast as your line allows". |
