| 520583 | 2007-01-30 05:34:00 | Telecom rang me today to tell me they wanted to save me money!!-Shock and Awe. They said I was on the Adventure Plan and wanted to put me on the Go large Plan and save me $10.00. I said thank you for your concern in wanting to save me money and I would think about it and promptly finished the conversation and hanged up as fast as I could before getting talked into something. The $10.00 saving I dont really care about,I would rather stay on The Adventure Plan if its more stable/better performing etc. then the Go Large Plan. I have heard/seen/read some negative stuff on the Go Large Plan. Is it coincidence that Campbell Live is talking about broadband tonight that Telecom rang me today....I wonder!:) |

I've got xtra dial-up.....have done since late October....not surprisingly had problems setting it up which is understandable coz it's such new cutting-edge technology.....and no-one I spoke to spoke English......and all I want to do is pay for a couple of months of usage. I've told them I want to throw money at them, send me a friggin' bill! (online info not correct). Still haven't got one. T |

| 520586 | 2007-01-30 06:00:00 | Actually, I got a phone call from them a couple of weeks ago because my broadband speed was low and they actually gave me a credit of about $250 to my account even before they phoned me.....totally proactive on their part. I think it's pretty good on their part (possibly prompted by the Commerce Commission or something) but despite my problems with them in the past (those who read my broadband woes thread will know) I don't really subscribe to the "let's hate Telecom just because they're Telecom so they must be up to no good" theory.... |

Their prices were a bit on the high side, but now I agree they are OK world-wise. But as you say the service/products they offer is now becoming fourth-world if there is such a thing !
