519152 2007-01-25 07:51:00 Protocol Obfuscation is the answer.

You now have control and not your ISP.

Simply go to settings in your client Emule - uTorrent - Azureus

Select Encryption Protocol Obfuscation and Allow legacy connections [so that people not using this feature can still connect to you,and you can download from them as well].

519154 2007-01-25 11:15:00 uTorrent has also supported this for donkeys years
Many peoples clients support it. I always have a look at what clients people are using, as well as what their client supports. Surprisingly, uTorrent, Mainline & Azureus are the MOST common, and almost all the people Ive seen wit uTorrent have that option enabled.

Some studies suggest you're better off using a random port than just enabling the protocol encryption ;)

519155 2007-01-25 11:47:00 Wouldn't xtra or any other ISPs realise this after some time? The punks probably will then continue to batter our speeds some more.... qazwsxokmijn (102)
519156 2007-01-26 05:49:00 apparently this doesnt work.... Prescott (11)
