729008 2008-12-14 12:04:00 Hey all,

So I had a lil time on my hands tonight and decided it'd be fun to try and get an OpenVPN server running from my Asus WL-520gU Router using DD-WRT VPN firmware build.

Anyways, took a bit of fiddling but its working sweeeet! Might post how I did it later if anybody is interested, I know a few of you have got those routers lately (Only works on the -gU, not -gC as it requires the VPN firmware build of DD-WRT), plus I know a couple of non-PF1'ers who have those who'd be interested ...

Aaanyways, back to the original problem:
Basically when I connect, Im given a new Gateway etc.
Not I could be wrong, but I believe that if I can get my clients who connect (Mostly friends, for gaming, who've had a hard time with Hamachi .. or myself when Im not at home) to use their local Router as the Gateway instead of my router, it should mean that their internet traffic will go out their Router instead of trying to go through mine through VPN, am I right?

Any ideas how to do this in XP / Vista, when OpenVPN also sets a new Gateway .. ?

Cheers

Chill.
