Millions of programs out there.

Why do you say "iso"?

Why not just use DVD Shrink/Decrypter?

Then use AutoGK to compress it to a divx/Xvid 700mb file.

I just read somewhere on a HTCP forum that it's best to rip to .iso :o

So divx doesn't lose much quality??

728464 2008-12-13 04:28:00 Only a bit-I've tried it, you only get a 5-10% quality loss, no noticeable. I would use Xvid, same size but better quality overall. Blam (54)
728465 2008-12-13 06:09:00 If you're encoding to a video, use XviD over DivX...

That said, I'd *always* go for h.264, probably using Handbrake (x264) to encode the video. I prefer to set the Video Bitrate to 1100 though instead of just saying "Target size = 700MB".

Google for Handbrake, its brilliant :D

Either that, or if you *really* wanna rip to an ISO, then use DVD Decrypter.

Agreed, handbreak is kickbutt :) for freeware anyway. Best commercial product would have to be a combo of Slysoft AnyDvd and CloneDVD.

728468 2008-12-13 08:01:00 DVD Shrink does the job, no need for anything else. FREE Bantu (52)
