728454 2008-12-12 22:51:00 Hi all,

My autorun feature for my DVD/RW isn't working... well it hasn't since a fresh install in October... it didn't really bother me then but now it's starting to P155 me off.

I tried removing the DVD/RW from device manager and then re-adding it but this hasn't worked... also tried installing ASPI driver software but that hasn't worked either.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Cheers,

728455 2008-12-12 22:53:00 Try my comp right click and enable the autorun feature fro all media types gary67 (56)

Sometimes autorun does screw up, or entries for it disappear

If youre using XP, you dont need the ASPI drivers ( these are usually for burning I think)

728459 2008-12-13 01:59:00 I install the ASPI drivers because they let you rip CD's at a higher speed than the analog method. I don't rip CD's too often it's just a standard driver I install when I do a format of my system.

Thanks for the hint though
