| 521568 | 2007-02-01 06:05:00 | Think fast: There's an electric train traveling south. The wind is from the north-west. In which direction would the smoke from the train be blowing? What is it that by losing an eye has nothing left but a nose? What has a foot on each end and one in the middle? At the hardware store I was quoted 12 cents for one, 24 cents for 50, and 36 cents for 144. I wanted six. What was I buying and how much did it cost me? Have fun... |

| 521572 | 2007-02-01 07:48:00 | Two boys and a man need to cross a river. They can only use the canoe. It will hold only the man OR the two boys' weight. How can they all get across safely? What do these words have in common: age, blame, curb, dance, evidence, fence, gleam, harm, interest, jam, kiss, latch, motion, nest, order, part, quiz, rest, signal, trust, use, view, win, x-ray, yield, zone? A man is asked what his daughters look like. He answers, "They are all blondes, but two, all brunettes, but two, and all redheads, but two." How many daughters did he have? |

Don't know about "in common", but each word starts with a different letter of the alphabet, going up from A to Z. |
