521185 2007-01-31 20:21:00 Good news! If you buy a Vista upgrade, you can do a clean install instead of an upgrade over the top of xp/2000.

That's neat, cause then you can save money.

That $200 Windows XP service pack called Vista

As for the new features... They have all been out for the last 3-5 years on average.

Really? Aero glass has been out for 3-5 years?. No.

Nobody is trying to make you buy Vista winmacguy - stick to Mac, Linux, or whatever suits you best. Let those of us using Vista enjoy it in peace.

NeXT Step which was the precursor to OS X had it back in the late 90's although I can't remember what they called the particular look, I believe Sun Microsystems use it obviously it is not called Aero. Apple bought it out with OS X but called it Aqua. There is very little if any original content in Vista, Windows borrowed the desktop gadgets idea from Apple's widgets, Apple bought out the dock back in 2001, OS9 actually had a floating application launcher, I think even Linux has a Dock. Speedy desktop search was intro'd with Tiger in April last year.....

Im not trying to buy Vista, just telling you that none of it is new or innovative.
