| 728982 | 2008-12-14 22:35:00 | Thanks Guys: I have AVG on because I got a glitch in Avast & it refused to come off or reload. I spent the best part of one evening trying to download it again. I just got a corrupt file notice.:yuck: Shear frustration & fear of being unprotected made me put AVG back on because I had been using it before going over to Avast. Up till then I was happy with Avast. I would love to go back to it if I could.:thanks Will do as you have said. |

| 728986 | 2008-12-16 04:21:00 | I did all of the above --FF loading a bit faster after Hijack treatment. Downloaded the Avast + instructions & their tool. Checked out the HOW to, on the computer; started in safe mode & there it all turned to custard ---- there was not one thing that said anything like on the instruction sheet & my dicky heart went into overdrive. Closed all down rebooted & untill I have saved up enough to get a computer men to do it, I think I shall just pretend it is not there. I am way outside my comfort zone.:crying I don't think I want something with such sticky toenails on the computer after this experience.:yuck: |
