521262 2007-01-31 22:30:00 Anyone read it? (just curious)

Going to see if I can track down a copy.

en.wikipedia.org

Seems there is an independent movie on the book just released, and a big budget hollywood effort on the way.

From the independent movie

521264 2007-02-01 02:04:00 Yes.

Be warned - it was written totally ages ago and that makes it very hard to read..........old fashioned if you know what I mean.

Theres been a lot of variations on the theme since, most of them a lot better.

521267 2007-02-01 05:46:00 Harry Harrison is a legend, Not only for his Sci-fi lite but his other books as well. At one time I read every single book of his I could find.

Hell, Even visited dozens of Libarys across Brisbane looking for his books.

God damn Im a geek, Shaved head, scars, tatts, Iron Maiden shirt and the first thing I do in a new country is visit all the libaries to see if they have books by my favourite authors.

But that was then & this is now.

Scars & tatts stay, of course. Still got the Iron Maiden shirt?
And how about hair?

(Certain members may snitch if you lie)

P.S. Oh, the book..
Sounds a bit mathmatical for me.
