| 729886 | 2008-12-17 00:45:00 | Other than using the character map, is there a way I can easily make the £ character using a laptop? I usually use the alt code system and numerical keypad when I am using the desktop. Thanks, Marnie |

| 729892 | 2008-12-18 06:36:00 | Hi gary, I have no problem using the insert and pound symbol using ms word. For example, when I am sending an email via outlook express, I can't find the insert symbol in that program. It's not a huge deal, but I just thought it would save me using the character map. Thanks for your help. Marnie |
