In XP you could edit the boot.ini file, but you cant seem to in Vista, yes just getting used to it now... Any ideas.. |

| 729800 | 2008-12-17 00:24:00 | Its actually quite easy - in the Boot ini in XP simply change the names to what ever you want. Renamed A workshop PC once - had both XP and Vista - one was called " Old sh1T" the other New Sh1T" Guess which was which :) | wainuitech (129) | ||

| 729802 | 2008-12-17 00:43:00 | OOPS my mistake - I was thinking XP Pro and XP home for a moment - But it can be done as I did it with XP home and Vista RC1 - but that was a while back when RC1 first came out - cant member fully how I did it though - Now I just chuck in a Different drive with what ever OS or I'm going to start using that Virtual Box - I tried VM ages ago and the damn software wouldn't even run on the Machine. VB does and good. | wainuitech (129) | ||
