| 729555 | 2008-12-16 01:07:00 | Hi I have a dell laptop that shows the bluetooth manager icon in the bottom corner. when i click on this and click new connection it tells me blue tooth is not ready yet. I cannot find out how to turn it on. Any suggestions ? |

| 729556 | 2008-12-16 01:11:00 | Use the Fn key, and one of the F-Keys (will have a bluetooth or wireless symbol) and you should be able to enable it. Otherwise check in the device manager and make sure you actually have bluetooth, sometimes the lappy may come preloaded with the same software as a higher spec lappy, but not actually have bluetooth. | wratterus (105) | ||
| 729557 | 2008-12-16 07:37:00 | You may also want to check if your lappy has a hardware on/off switch- my flatmates Presario had me scratching my head for ages until my fiancee looked and saw the switch... [smacks forehead] And as Wratterus says, it does have bluetooth, doesn't it? |
