| 729360 | 2008-12-15 19:13:00 | I am about to embark on a move to a new computer. All the files I have created in Word, Excel, Access, etc, are nicely saved on my portable drive (and backed up) but where does MS Outlook (NOT Outlook Express) put the files for the Contacts list? I have been hooked into this address book for some time now, don't like it and don't use it for email but have no reasobale alternative for my addresses. So, where are those files? This forum has given me good news in the past so I look forward to your replies. Dick |

You can then import it into Outlook again later. It does not retain your Email Accounts, but if you click all the right boxes it will backup contacts, emails and attachments, everything except email accounts, you have to set them up again. |
