523735 2007-02-08 04:23:00 Have a look at the dept of labour. I seem to recall the standard working temp should be between 19-23c EX-WESTY (221)
523736 2007-02-08 04:30:00 I don't think there is a legal range of temperature to be followed. Have a look at this (work.union.org.nz).

My work can be quite variable temperature wise due to a el-cheapo aircon/venting system. Some rooms have been known to vary between 13 deg C and 27 deg C within a few days due to a dodgy electronic temp controller. The workers carried on with their duties still ...

523738 2007-02-08 05:01:00 Well then. I should be sent home every summers day. I install alarms for a living, and this often requires crawling around roof spaces and I can tell you now it's a lot hotter than 23 degrees!

Bottom line? Harden up! :D

523741 2007-02-08 08:22:00 The other day I had 5 of the lads in a roof cavatey jack-hammering, Now that was suffocatingly hot, loud and dusty.

Though I did let them pause for water a couple of times.
