When I first started with Ihug, it usually took about 4 or 5 attempts to connect at peak times. Then I remember they must have invested in a lot of new equipment, because all of a sudden, you would connect first time, every time. Seemed like such a big deal back then - now its not about how long to connect, but how long to download video, how many gigs of data you get, etc... Zfree was alright, until everybody started using it, then it was just a waste of time. I also vaguely remember the ads for Zfree - something about a guy sneaking under a house, plugging in a modem, and piggybacking on your lines. Seems like such a long time ago...

I've been online about 10years now I guess. yep, i remeber ihug being tricky to connect to in peak times, and yeah then they did some hardware upgrade and things were good at about 50k.
