And they do contain / install malware Someone probably used them, on those work computers, and now they're infected No, it's usually because of the way they pack the .exe's - they use some compression method that makes a lot of AV's falsely report them as a virus. If you're getting trojans/malware from keygens, you need to find a better source :D |

I had it for years and it worked well most of the time until one day, unbeknown to me at the time, it failed to allow an important email to be sent. That caused me a lot of distress when I found out about it so I will never again use AVG on my computers. |

| 729482 | 2008-12-17 18:05:00 | Yes I was an AVG user for years. Then I got version 8.00 (bloatware) It slowed my machine, had lots of corrupt scan files and it was hard to get viurus updates. Their forum was full of people having the same problems and AVG did not seem to be trying to fix th eproblems, So I got Avast and its been good so far. |
