729338 2008-12-16 09:35:00 Status update: I installed Kaspersky 30days trial on infected computers, it reported and cleaned(?) bunch of pests, and for now (10:30am) situation is still calm. Monitoring situation in next few hours.

Is it possible to disconnect all computers from the internet before removing the viruses?

Yes. But I have pretty hard clues that infection is spreading by infected USB sticks.

Its available on *cough* "sharing" sites but it wouldn't be a good for fox2setubal to use unofficial software....would prob get him fired

Oh, if you know... if you really know (wink: look on my location). Not to be misunderstood, I support official SW.

Get trojan remover in my sig..

Dont know how youre going to install it on 40 pcs.

Update it then scan then select all options under utilities

What are they running? What version of windows?

Total infection is detected on 8/40 pcs. I use Bandwidth Monitor to identify pc that is blocking the network in moments when it fall down.

I will try that Trojan remover. I am curious about it's performances. OS is Windows XP.
