523656 2007-02-08 03:24:00 I blame their upbringing. Yes, that's right, there is actually nothing wrong with teenagers today, the real problem is all the older people who look down upon us and say 'kids these days, yada yada yada'.

We had to learn it from someone. So I shall point the finger at the previous generation. They brought us up, and taught us all of what we are.

Aaah, it's good to have someone else to blame.

(ok, maybe I shouldn't be trying to wind people up... Please don't kill me :p)But winding adults up is what teenagers do best!!! :D

At least that was the case when I was a teenager, way back when we had carless days because of an alleged oil shortage....

523659 2007-02-08 03:54:00 If you read ancient reports, people were saying exactly the same things back in Roman times, ancient Eygpt, ancient Greece etc etc.

Except then it would be horses and chariots I guess.

523660 2007-02-08 06:09:00 Yes, it does so happen to be that I am named Jonathan.

And I would say it's not just teenagers these days. I mean, look at all the sick freakin adults you read about committing murders and such.

But then, as pctek said, is now really different from way back?

523661 2007-02-08 08:03:00 Ah, Good old teenage wasteland. Such incredible fun. So incredibly stupid. So much madness, confusion, chaos and good times for all. Social gatherings were pure energy, Music meant something and none of us could afford a full tank of petrol.

Best years of my life, glad they are over, Couldn't handle them again.

Oh yeah, I pretty much agree with Laura, Though I have forgotten what she said and cant be bothered scrolling to have another look.

523662 2007-02-08 08:22:00 Gotta agree with the teenagers here. :p

Being a teen myself, I also realise that the media is the devil.

Mind you, I never speed or drink drive.

523663 2007-02-08 08:37:00 I can understand both sides of the argument, however i think that we're seeing a minority of teenagers who are breaking the law and committing dangerous acts which the newsroom just loves. jermsie (6820)

523665 2007-02-08 09:52:00 Im a teenager, i have to stand up for my fellows...

Its called the Media, they report you react, 99% of teenagers wont go driving from the authorities at 160km/h, but we have to be seen as the reckless bunch of people jumping of bridges, popping party pills, driving madly, etc etc

What a cop-out...LOL, if we said you were jumping off cliffs........the trouble is none of you take responsibility for your actions, and we dont punish you correctly..of course I'm not talking to you personally..!
